This is a four-week nature and adventure-oriented program for campers entering 5th and 6th grade. Campers participate in outdoor activities including canoeing, camping, orienteering, rock-climbing, rocketry, archery, outdoor cooking, and group initiatives. Explorers should be able to swim comfortably in water over their heads. In swimming, we emphasize safety skills in and around the water. An important goal of the Explorer program is for campers to learn independent living skills; Explorers will participate in four exciting overnights. This program is limited to one group per session. This is an Optional Program with a fee in addition to our Senior Camp rates.
