RISING STAR SPORTS – Week 1
RISING STAR SPORTS offers two week-long sessions of sports for children ages 3 to entering 2nd grade. This program is offered from 9 am until 11:30 am Monday through Friday. The Camp offers three program options, and all programs are planned so that enrollment in one or multiple sessions is equally enjoyable. Tenacre Day Camp is a traditional, fun summer experience for children ages 3 to 12. Campers are encouraged to participate in a wide range of age-appropriate activities which promote group cohesiveness and provide opportunities for individual growth and creativity. Explore the exciting world of Robotics using the LEGO® Mindstorms® NXT line. Building and programming robots develops critical thinking skills and entices kids to think like scientists and engineers. Through teamwork and cooperation, children fine tune their robots to perform tasks and program the robots using a computer. The week concludes with a presentation for parents/guardians on Friday.
