Children with Special Needs Ages 5 – 15 (Must be 5 by 10/15/17) Tikvah is designed to meet the special needs of children and adolescents between the ages of 5 and 15 who have been classified with mild neurological and/or perceptual impairment. All prospective campers must be interviewed to determine if the Tikvah program can meet their individual needs and that an appropriate group placement is available. Special attention is given to each camper in order to ensure a summer of enjoyment and learning. Group sizes range from three to six campers, staffed by a minimum of two caring and qualified counselors. Mainstreaming is geared to each individual camper’s age and ability.
