Take on the challenge of out of camp trips while still enjoying the in-camp activities… As a Trailblazer, you will construct your days around your favorite activities. In addition, Trailblazer campers take a 2-day canoe trip on Newfound Lake and a 3-4 day backpacking trip in the White Mountains. Campers live together in villages, comprised of up to 12 campers and 2 leaders. The village becomes your “family” at camp – you live together, eat meals together family style, and participate in all of your trips together. While in camp, Trailblazer campers live in cabins nestled in the woods. These cabins do not have electricity, and the surrounding woods become your home. 4 Week Trailblazers will also have an opportunity to learn a bit more about bicycling, with instruction in safe group travel and an afternoon of riding! 3 & 4 Week Campers have even more special events to look forward to! Participate in: The Annual Merrowvista Musical Production – Opening night is the last week of each session. The Four-Fold Tournament – Wacky events take place throughout the last week of the session. Teams work together to create chariots from cardboard, complete an all-camp relay, and much more! The Annual Water Carnival – A crazy day at the waterfront where activities include greased watermelon relays, canoeing races, and sandcastle building contests!
